Diary of a fragment
Experimental essay from the writer and visual artist Nadja Voss. Released for the first time in 2012, in exhibition format (28 sheets in A2 size). It was released again in 2015 with 6.5 x 4.3 (in) in 10 copies, with individual sheets inside of an envelope ready for mail. It is a hybrid essay, based on the Mourning Diary, from Roland Barthes. The fragments were proposed in a tripartite perspective: (i) a mourning person, reading the diary; (ii) the artist that monitorades and document the process; (iii) Roland Barthes while writer and mourning agent.
The third edition, available here, is a fac-simile of the first edition, but brings the mobile component of the second edition, ofering the possibility of printing the eBook (pdf – in portuguese) and the envelope, assembling it and sending by mail.
